Lehigh Carbon Community College has received Rising STARS funding provided by the Northeast Regional Key, which is available for students taking courses in the early childhood education program.
The Rising STARS Tuition Assistance Program pays 95 percent of tuition costs for eligible college coursework taken by early learning professionals with a maximum benefit of $6,000 per fiscal year (July 1 through June 30, 2017).Applicants will be able to enter multiple courses for a semester into one application for the Rising STARS Tuition Assistance Program and will no longer be required to submit a PA Certificate of Compliance or STARS Certificate.Any staff person who is employed at a Keystone STARS designated early learning program, and has been working at an early learning program operated by that legal entity for at least 12 months is eligible to apply for Rising STARS Tuition Assistance.Additional requirementscan be found on the PA Keys portal at
