A Monroe County man was arrested in New Jersey for an incident that occurred in Monroe County.

State police at Fern Ridge said Steven Peter Braunstein, 54, of Blakeslee was arrested on a warrant by New Jersey Port Authority Police at the Newark Airport.Troopers said Braunstein was wanted for an incident that occurred on July 1, at the home of Dominique Dubuisson, 39, of 2566 Allegheny Drive, Blakeslee, Chestnuthill Township. Troopers said about 10 a.m. Braunstein attempted to force his way into the residence by kicking a sliding glass door located in the rear of the residence. He then was observed on video surveillance pulling a pistol out of a duffel bag and then began to try and force entry into the home. He is facing charges of burglary and related counts.
