State police at Frackville are investigating the theft of a revolver from a vehicle in Schuylkill County.

Troopers said Gary Schrepple Sr., 60, of Back Road, Barnesville, Ryan Township, reported the gun was removed from his unlocked pickup while parked outside his home. The theft occurred sometime between July 2 and 4. The gun was described as being a Smith & Wesson .357-caliber Model 27-2. Troopers urge residents to always lock their vehicles.Anyone with information is asked to call troopers at 570-874-5300.
