Thursday's meeting of the Alzheimer Association Caregiver's Support Group at Blue Mountain has been canceled.

The group will resume its monthly meetings Aug. 4 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the third-floor conference room at the Palmerton Hospital Campus, 135 Lafayette Ave. in Palmerton.Donna Kravelk, a registered nurse on the Older Adult Behavioral Health Unit at BMHS, facilitates the group, which provides emotional, educational and social support for caregivers of those with Alzheimer's and other types of dementia.Meetings are free and anyone seeking support and knowledge of Alzheimer's and dementia are welcome.To register, or for more information, call Kravelk at 610-826-1340.
