Katie Eidem of Lehighton earned a bachelor's degree from Wells College in Aurora, New York.

She majored in English with a concentration in creative writing and minored in theater, graduating magna cum laude. She is a graduate of Lehighton Area High School.One hundred and thirty five students earned their diplomas this year as part of the college's 148th Commencement ceremonies, held on the Wells College campus.
