West Penn Township police are investigating an accident which occurred Thursday morning at the intersection of Routes 309 and 443 east. The crash occurr ed do as Jesse Lorah of West Penn was driving his pickup truck west and had slowed down entering the intersection with Route 309 north. As he did a box truck of Lehighton Techniplastics failed to slow down climbing up onto Lorah's trailer. No one was injured in the incident.
