Severe thunderstorms possible this afternoon

There is a slight risk of severe thunderstorms this afternoon and evening. The primary hazard with any severe storms is expected to be strong winds.

Heavy rain leading to localized flooding especially for poor drainage areas is also possible with any showers and thunderstorms today.
