Woman cited with disorderly conduct

A visit to a hoagie shop resulted in charges against a Tamaqua woman.

According to police, Valerie Nattress Waldron, 36, of 229 Cedar St., stopped in at the West Broad Street Subway around noon on Saturday and said, "It's too hot in here."At that point, she left but returned and insisted on speaking with a worker while the worker was waiting on a customer. Waldron became enraged, according to the police report, and began cursing and calling the worker names. She was asked to leave and proceeded to the front door, where she turned around and began yelling obscenities, said police. She then slammed the door multiple times and left.Waldron will be cited for disorderly conduct.
