A West Penn Township man looking for a bargain on cologne was cited for retail theft in Tamaqua.

According to Tamaqua police, Daniel J. Metzger II, 52, of 203 Mush Dahl Road, was seen by employees of the Family Dollar store on Friday placing a small black bottle of body spray into his front right cargo shorts pocket, according to the police report.At first Metzger denied doing so but then admitted it. Police said the store has the incident recorded on the store's security video.Metzger was cited for retail theft of an item less than $50 and has been banned from entering all Family Dollar Stores, according to the police report.
