A wallet and contraband were seized after a woman alerted state police at the Lehighton barracks that the items were left on top of her vehicle June 20 in the area of Red Hill Road, Lower Towamensing Township.

Police said a woman arrived at the police barracks in the township and told them that when she went to her vehicle, she discovered a wallet sitting abandoned on top of the car. Upon checking the wallet for ownership, she observed what she believed to be a controlled substance, police said.Police said their examination of the items confirmed the wallet contained a controlled substance and paraphernalia.A 32-year-old man from Allentown is the suspect, police said.
