Palmerton Police Department reports the following incidents:

Prohibited weaponsJoshua Barlip, 25, of Palmerton, was charged with prohibited offensive weapons. The incident occurred on June 1 in the 200 block of Alley E.Public drunkennessJames Gibson, 64, of Palmerton, was cited for public drunkenness. The violation occurred on June 12 in the 100 block of Lafayette Avenue.Possession of drug paraphernaliaA juvenile petition was filed against a 17-year-old Lehighton male for DUI, possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. The incident occurred on April 3 on Third Street.Unlawful possession of a controlled substanceJosh Stanley, 36, of Palmerton, was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and driving under suspension. The incident occurred on May 29 in the 700 block of Delaware Avenue.Disorderly conductA citation was filed against a 14-year-old Palmerton male for disorderly conduct. The violation occurred on June 13 in the 100 block of Avenue A.Police also issued nine citations for vehicle violations, and two each for traffic violations and speeding.
