Resident Cathy Schimpf told the Rush Township board of supervisors on Thursday that the township needs to do so something about the nuisance all-terrain vehicle operators in the township.
"I'm pleading," Schimpf said. "It's going to get worse."Sgt. Duane Frederick said residents who see anyone on an ATV being a nuisance should try to take a picture and call 911.Supervisor Robert Leibensperger added that the situation has gotten out of control.Other businessIn other action, supervisors, on a 2-0 vote, with Supervisor Jeanine Motroni absent:• Approved the purchase of 12 grinder pumps for Lake Hauto from Site Specific Design Inc in the amount of $21,044.• Approved the Fair Housing Resolution for 2016.• Agreed to advertise for a request for proposal for grant consulting services.• Accepted a renewal of contract from Signal Services Inc for traffic signal maintenance.• Appointed the secretary/treasurer as an authorized representative for the township to receive any tax information and records from Berkheimer.
