The District 11 Committee recently approved playing the 2016 district football championship games in all six classifications at neutral sites.

The committee is in the process of securing a pool of independent sites willing to host the championship finals. Sites will not be predetermined, and much like basketball, will depend on the two teams competing for the championship.All quarterfinal and semifinal round games will still be contested at the site of the higher seed.
