State police at the Lehighton barracks are investigating a burglary that happened between 7:30 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. June 7 at a home on New York Boulevard in Polk Township.

Police said someone gained entry to the home by forcing open a window in the living room and removed cash and gift cards from the residence.
