The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources has closed the beach at Beltzville State Park to swimming, effective today.

The beach will remain closed until acceptable water sample results are received. DCNR has posted signs at the beach.Other activities at Beltzville State Park, such as picnicking, fishing, boating and hiking, are proceeding as usual.For more information about Pennsylvania's 120 state parks, visit the DCNR website at
