The Panthers, coached by Anita Herman, score seven times in the third inning to take control of the contest. Yurchak delivers a two-run double during the frame, while Yvonne Cormier, Penni Bortnyck and Mary Jo Pisko add RBI singles. Kim Gogal finishes the contest with four hits, one an RBI double, and two runs scored. Cormier collects three hits, with Pisko and Ann Kusko each add two.
