Two Pleasant Valley student-athletes have been chosen to represent Pennsylvania at the 2016 Brine National Lacrosse Academy.

Alexandria Bush, a sixth grader at Pleasant Valley Intermediate School, has been named as a 2016 Brine National All-Star and will represent her home state at the 2016 Brine National Lacrosse Academy and Brine National Lacrosse Classic.Matthew Hallenbeck, a sophomore at Pleasant Valley High School, was also named an All-Star at the Brine National Lacrosse Academy.The pair will travel to Richmond, Virginia to take place in the event, which will run from July 19-22.The Brine National Lacrosse Academy brings the top youth lacrosse players in the country to one venue, where regional teams are coached by NCAA lacrosse coaches and compete to become the 2016 Brine National Champions.
