Another theft incident at a Schuylkill County cemetery is being investigated.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said two flower boxes from two different grave sites were stolen over the Memorial Day holiday from St. Stephens Church cemetery, located along Valley Street in Port Carbon.Troopers said one flower box was for a U.S. Navy veteran. The thefts occurred sometime between noon on Monday and 1:15 p.m. on Tuesday.On Tuesday state police at Frackville reported a theft incident at Saint Canicus cemetery, located along the Morea Road in Mahanoy Township, in which a tool shed was entered and grass trimmers were taken. That also occurred over the holiday weekend.Anyone with information concerning the thefts at St. Stephens cemetery is asked to call troopers at 570-739-1330.
