State police at Lehighton reported investigating a one-vehicle crash along Route 248 at the Bowmanstown exit on May 25 at 9:56 p.m.

Troopers said Stephen Bugarewicz, 46, of Lehighton, was westbound when he lost control of his vehicle which struck the median. After impact the vehicle spun counterclockwise and came to rest across the westbound lanes.Bugarewicz sustained a minor injury and was taken to the Palmerton hospital by Palmerton ambulance. The vehicle had disabling front-end damage and was towed from the scene. Palmerton police assisted at the scene.
