State police at Lehighton released information on a sobriety checkpoint and roving DUI patrols over the holiday weekend.

The patrols resulted in six motorists arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance. In addition, six motorists were released after passing standardized field sobriety tests. There were 29 citations and 22 warnings issued.
