A Lehighton man admitted to an assault incident in Lansford.

He was one of three defendants in pending cases to enter a guilty plea before Judge Joseph J. Matika.Mid-rise incidentRonald David Getz, 45, pleaded to one count of simple assault.He was charged by Lansford police for incident at the borough's mid-rise on Aug. 14, 2015. Getz admitted getting into an altercation with Dale Miles in the lobby area of the building. Getz told Matika he became upset with Miles, who he alleged was stocking his girlfriend. He admitted shoving the victim and striking him.It was noted that Getz has a prior criminal record and because of it he faces a prison term according to state sentencing guidelines.Getz told the court, "I know better than to get involved in something like this."Matika deferred sentencing and ordered the adult probation office to prepare a presentence investigation report.Other pleasOther defendants entering pleas included:Robert W. Voran, 47, of Morrisville, Bucks County, pleaded to one count of false identification to law enforcement.He was arrested on April 16, 2013, along the turnpike in East Penn Township by state police at Pocono. At the stop he provided troopers with the name of his brother. It was later learned who he actually was and charged. He told the court he gave the false name because he knew there was an active warrant out for his arrest in another Bucks County.Matika placed him on probation for a year and ordered he render 50 hours of community service, pay court costs of about $1,000 and pay a $50 per month supervision fee while on probation. He is currently in the Bucks County prison on a parole/probation violation.Hector L. Enchautegui Jr.,36, of Whitehall, pleaded to one count of false identification and driving under suspension.He was arrested on Dec. 17, 2010, by Lansford police during a vehicle stop along Water Street. Police responded to the area for a report of a suspicious vehicle.Sentencing was deferred.
