A Schuylkill County driver was involved in a one-vehicle crash in Lehigh County.

State police at Fogelsville said Luis A. Legron, 49, of Pottsville, was driving a 2008 Jeep Liberty southbound on Silver Creek Road in Weisenberg Township at 3:13 a.m. on Friday when a deer entered the road in front of him. Legron swerved to miss the deer with the Jeep going onto the berm and striking a bridge guide rail. After impact with the guide rail the Jeep then struck a tree.Negron and his passenger, Carlos M. Torres III, 24, of Bethlehem, were not injured.
