The Slatington Woman's Club Girl has named Samantha Brown as Girl of the Month for May.

She is the daughter of Robin and William Brown of Slatedale. She has two sisters, Lauren and Jessica.Samantha is a senior at Northern Lehigh High School, where she is marching band secretary, Library Club president, and is also involved in SADD, yearbook, theater and FCCLA.Her interests include cooking and baking cupcakes for her friends and family.Her plans are to attend culinary school, where she will major in baking and pastry arts.
