Palmerton Police Department reports the following incidents:

Drug paraphernalia• Charges were filed against Jennifer Gongora, 30, of Palmerton, for possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under suspension. The incident occurred on April 17 in the 900 block of Delaware Avenue.• Shane Smith, 42, of Palmerton, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under suspension, and restraint systems. The incident occurred on April 20 in the 600 block of Mauch Chunk Road.• Charges were filed against Michael Rehrig, 32, of Palmerton, for unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. The incident occurred on April 3 in the 500 block of Mauch Chunk Road.• Alexander Peters, 23, of Slatington, was charged for possession of drug paraphernalia, speeding, careless driving, and reckless driving. The incident occurred on April 1 on Route 248 east.Driving under the influence• Jason Binder, 43, of Lehighton, was charged with DUI, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, endangering the welfare of children, and driving under suspension. The incident occurred on March 28 in the 600 block of Mauch Chunk Road.Retail theft•Charges were filed against Shelly Filer, 44, of Palmerton, for retail theft. The incident occurred on April 1 in the 600 block of Delaware Avenue.• Bradley Lafaw, 29, of Lehighton, was cited for retail theft. The violation occurred on April 19 in the 500 block of Delaware Avenue.• A citation was filed against a 14-year-old Palmerton male for retail theft. The violation occurred on April 21 in the 500 block of Delaware Avenue.Possession or delivery of marijuana• Warden May, 21, and Jennifer Bealla, 34, both of Palmerton, were each charged with obstructing administration of law, possession of a controlled substance, and possession or delivery of a small amount of marijuana. The incident occurred on March 18 in the 300 block of Delaware Avenue.Unlawful activitiesAnnette Green, 30, of Palmerton, was cited for unlawful activities. The violation occurred on April 18 at Delaware Avenue and Mauch Chunk Road.OtherPolice also issued four citations each for traffic violations and vehicle violations, as well as one for speeding.
