Mr. and Mrs. Thomas M. Williams Sr., of Coaldale, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married in Saint Michael's Church in Lansford by the Rev. John's Beneck on April 23, 1966.

Both formerly from Lansford, Mrs. Williams is the former Barbara Ann Kulhavy and is a member of the first graduating class of Panther Valley High School in 1965. She and her husband have lived at the same Coaldale address for 45 years.The couple are the parents of two sons. Son Thomas M. Williams Jr., of Tamaqua, is employed by Hobart Equipment. Their son, John, lives in Alfred, New York, and is currently the dean of the School of Architecture, Management and Engineering Technology at Alfred State College. They have three granddaughters, Danielle and Alexandra in Tamaqua and Abby in Alfred.
