Prosecutors: Attorney won't hand over Snuka report

ALLENTOWN (AP) - Prosecutors are asking an eastern Pennsylvania judge to force former professional wrestling star Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka's defense to hand over a psychologist's report in advance of a hearing on whether he's competent to stand trial.

The (Allentown) Morning Call reports that Lehigh County prosecutors filed a motion last week saying that Snuka's attorney has refused to share a report on Snuka's mental health. The motion says defense attorney Robert Kirwan said prosecution specialists should be able to complete an evaluation without "copying off my expert."The 72-year-old defendant is due back in court May 13, when a judge will hear from both sides before deciding whether Snuka is competent to stand trial on third-degree murder and involuntary manslaughter charges in the May 1983 slaying of his girlfriend, Nancy Argentino.
