Lansford Alive has begun a tree and park bench memorial program in conjunction with the downtown streetscape project.

The intersection of Ridge and Tunnel streets will be redesigned with four pocket parks at each corner, near the borough hall.Trees will be planted in the pocket parks and also along Ridge Street. Plaques in honor or memory of someone will be attached to each bench and tree.There are only a small number of trees and benches available and they will be on a first come, first served basis. Trees are $200 and will cover the cost of the tree and plaque. Park benches are $800 and will cover the cost of the bench and plaque.More information is available on our Facebook page.
