April 28, 1950 - Steve Comisac captures three events to help Tamaqua gain a 64-31 track win over Hazleton. Comisac sprints to victories in the 100, 220 and 440 to give the Blue Raiders 15 team points. The winners take nine of the 11 events. Other individual firsts for Tamaqua come from John Feisoci (880), Ken Smith (mile), Bruce Phillips (high jump), and Hal Moore (broad jump). The Raiders also get a win from their mile relay team.
