The Tamaqua Area School District will host its annual Night of the Arts event on Thursday.

The event includes the Tamaqua Middle School Spring Art Show and the Spring Chorus Concert.Artwork created by students in grades six, seven and eight will be on display in the hallways around the Tamaqua Auditorium from 7 to 7:30 p.m., followed by the 7:30 p.m. concert featuring the High School Jazz Chorale and Concert Choir and the Middle School Select/General Chorus.The art show is being organized by middle school art teacher Kim Woodward. There is no admission fee.Accompanists for the choirs, which are all under the direction of John Buglio, are Antonetta Gerace, Patrick McMullen and Faith Roberts.
