A Lehigh County family is homeless after a swift moving fire destroyed their home in Walnutport.

The fire was first reported at 7:11 p.m. near the intersection of Third and Lincoln streets.

When firefighters from three counties arrived on scene flames had consumed the rear wooden deck and rear portion of the ranch style home.
