The Palmerton Area School Board approved Tuesday night several sports coaching positions for the 2016-17 school year. The salaries are still pending.

Justin Peterson was rehired as head wrestling coach, and Erick Kresge as assistant wrestling coach. Zach Christman and his brother Jake will be half-salary assistant wrestling coaches.Suzanne Lynn was hired as assistant girls' basketball coach, while Jeremy Coleman and Brian Stevko were hired as assistant boys' basketball coaches. The board also approved several volunteer wrestling coaches. Those were Rick Anderson, Rick Petersen, Josh Evans and Dave Lavin.
