Two men were cited after Tamaqua Police found them in an unoccupied home on April 17.

Officers were dispatched to 245 Van Gelder St., Tamaqua at 6:29 p.m. for a possible trespassing incident.At the scene, they found Gregory Allen Sperlbaum, 48, of 107 Washington St., Tamaqua, working on a vehicle in a garage at the rear of the property. Inside the home, they found Cory M. Whitley, 23, of 7016 Valley Ave., Philadelphia.Both were removed from the premises and cited for trespassing.Whitley was transported to the Schuylkill County Prison in Pottsville after police discovered an active warrant for his arrest.
