A Schuylkill County man was jailed on Monday for violating a protection from abuse order, and then struggling with police.

State police at Frackville responded to 108 Hazle St., in Delano Township at 4:10 p.m. for a PFA violation. Troopers said that Eric Michael Christopher, 22, came to the home of his parents when the PFA order denied him access to the property.Troopers charged Christopher with indirect criminal contempt. While being arrested for the violation Christopher resisted officers. Troopers said charges for the resisting will be filed against Christopher.Christopher was arraigned before on-call District Judge David Plachko, of Port Carbon, and taken to the county prison in Pottsville after failing to post 10 percent of $15,000 bail.
