PITTSBURGH (AP) - Allegheny County District Attorney Stephen Zappala Jr. will return a $15,000 donation to his campaign for state attorney general.

Zappala said he was unaware of Scranton businessman Louis DeNaples' connection to the contribution. He returned the Pocono Gardens Realty donation.DeNaples is the former owner of Mount Airy Casino and currently owns Pocono Gardens Realty.He was charged in 2008 for lying to casino regulators about his ties to an organized crime family.The charges were dropped with the condition he relinquish control of the casino.Zappala is vying for the Democratic nomination in the April 26 primary.
