A Tamaqua man was cited by Coaldale Police after a bag of white powder fell out of his wallet at St. Luke's Hospital-Miners Campus, 360 W. Ruddle St., Coaldale.

A hospital employee contacted police about the powder at 6:30 p.m. April 3 after it fell from the wallet of Keith J. Schlosser, 33, of 249 W. Rowe St., Tamaqua. Schlosser was in the emergency department when officers arrived.When asked about the bag of powder, Schlosser said he didn't realize he had any drugs on him, but it was probably either methamphetamine or cocaine. The powder field tested positive for methamphetamine.Schlosser was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
