Panther Valley picks up two Schuylkill League victories

Panther Valley picked up a pair of Schuylkill League wins on Friday. The PV baseball squad topped Shenandoah Valley behind a strong pitcher performance from Darren Goida, 6-1. The Lady Panthers, however, used a collective offensive effort to defeat Shenandoah Valley in an offensive showcase, 19-17.

BASEBALLShenandoah Vy.-Panther Vy.Panther Valley picked up its third win of the season during a Schuylkill League game against Shenandoah Valley, 6-1.Darren Goida was effective on the mound for the Panthers, yielding just one run and scattering seven hits over six-plus innings.Anthony Vavra gave Goida all of the run support he needed. He supplied two base hits, drove in three runs, and stole two bases.
