BRIDGEVILLE. (AP) - A western Pennsylvania trampoline park says it has fired a worker who told a woman to stop breastfeeding her son.
Officials at Flight Trampoline Park in Bridgeville tell KDKA-TV (http://cbsloc.al/22z6MKt ) that they're apologizing and hope to schedule a charity event soon to benefit a local breastfeeding advocacy group.
The park released the statement Thursday and said the incident occurred the day before.
The woman who was breastfeeding her son sparked the controversy when she posted on Facebook saying two male employees asked her to move to a private room while breastfeeding. Pennsylvania law doesn't permit people to ask breastfeeding women to move, leave or cover up.
