The food pantry for Palmerton area families in need is open from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30

p.m.April 22. The CACPAC-sponsored pantry is located at St. John's Lutheran Church, 2915 Fireline Road, Palmerton. The pantry serves households in Palmerton, Towamensing and Lower Towamensing townships, and Bowmanstown. Call Ken at 610-826-6133 or Barb at 610-377-4768 to give food donations or Bonnie at 610-826-4503 for monetary donations.Breakfast buffetAn all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet will be served from 8 a.m. to noon Sundayat the Bowmanstown Rod and Gun Club, 525 Gun Club Road, Palmerton. The cost is $8 per person. Items include bacon, sausage, ham, eggs, potatoes and more.Bowmanstown Fire CompanyA Surf and Turf raffle will be held from 6-9 p.m. Saturdayat the Bowmanstown Fire Company, 259 Lime St. in Bowmanstown.
