A young man escaped serious injury Monday afternoon in a crash along Fairyland Road in Franklin Township. The crash occurred at 5:15 p.m. as he was traveling north near the intersection with Forest Street. The car entered the right berm and rolled several times before coming to rest on its wheels down an embankment. Responding were Lehighton paramedics and Franklin Township fire company whose fire police shut down the roadway. State police at Lehighton are investigating the incident.
