Streets will be posted the day before the street will be done.Summit HillSpring cleanup daysSummit Hill announce its spring cleanup days.The east side of town, as well as Knepper's Trailer Court and East and West White Bear Drive, will be picked up onMonday. Regular trash pickup for the town will follow on Tuesday.The west side of town along with Laurel Drive and East and West Mountaintop Road will be picked up on April 18. Regular trash pickup for the town will follow on April 19.Items that will be picked up on cleanup days include: no more than four tires, tire rims, auto body parts, refrigerators, freezers, vending machines, dehumidifiers, water coolers, heat pumps, washers, dryers and stoves.All items must have all chemicals removed and doors taken off. Freon must be removed from refrigerators, air conditioners and other appliances and tagged. In addition, up to 10 bags of garbage will be collected.No electronics or televisions will be picked up during the cleanup events.LansfordStreet sweepingLansford will begin its spring street sweeping on Monday. Police ask for residents' cooperation with moving vehicles on the day the street will be swept.On Monday, the north side of Patterson Street will be swept; Tuesday, the south side of Patterson Street; Wednesday, the north side of Ridge Street and both sides of Snyder Street; Thursday, the south side of Ridge Street and both sides of Kline Avenue; and Friday, the north side of Bertsch Street and both sides of Water Street.On April 18, the south side of Bertsch Street as well as both sides of Front Street; April 19, the north side of Abbott Street and the east side of all hills (cross streets); April 20, the south side of Abbott Street and the west side of the hills (cross streets); and April 21, Spring Garden Street and Andrewsville Street.Streets will be posted the day before they are swept.
