At least three people were injured Monday afternoon, including two young children, in a crash along Route 443 in Mahoning Township. The crash occurred just after 4 p.m. as a woman was traveling east and failed to stop for a pickup that had stopped to make a left turn onto Seneca Drive. The woman slammed into the rear of the truck. Route 443 was closed for an hour. Mahoning Township police are investigating. The victims were treated at the scene by members of the Mahoning Valley Ambulance and Lehighton paramedics. Mahoning Valley Fire Company assisted at the scene.
