Schuylkill Township is in need of a dump truck.

At an emergency meeting Saturday, township secretary Natasha Tyson said supervisors agreed to put a bid proposal in for the purchase of a 2000 F550 dump truck from N. Whitehall Township in the amount of $18,000.Tyson said the dump truck is needed because the township has a piece of equipment that is just starting to get on its lest leg.The matter is expected to be discussed when the board of supervisors meet at 7 p.m. tonight.
