AARP tax assistance is available now through April 15 on Mondays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. until noon at Salem United Church of Christ, 117 Gilbert Road in Gilbert.

If Pleasant Valley schools are on a two-hour delay, the hours of operation will be 10 a.m. until noon. If they are delayed by one hour, the site will open at the regular time. If schools are closed, the tax site is closed.No appointments are necessary. Free tax help is available for all, with special attention for seniors. Bring the following items:• Identification as well as Social Security cards for yourself and any dependents.• Insurance information, especially if you are receiving your insurance under the Affordable Care Act.• Six preprinted return address labels.• Six business-size envelopes• All tax documents necessary for 2015 returns.
