A Monroe County man was jailed following a domestic incident.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said at 3:35 p.m. March 23, officers were dispatched to Daniel's Top-Of-The-Pocono resort, cabin 2, for a reported physical domestic incident. On scene officers found a 28-year-old woman with visible injuries outside the cabin with a young child.Medical personnel were summoned. She told officers her boyfriend, Christopher R. Slattery, 30, of 180 Glenmere Road, Canadensis, held her inside the cabin, refusing to let her leave and physically assaulted her.She told police she was only able to leave after she was able to get to a phone and dial 911. Police found Slattery inside the cabin and took him into custody. The woman was transported to Pocono Medical Center for treatment of injuries.Slattery was arraigned on charges of simple assault, false imprisonment and harassment. He was committed to the county prison in Snydersville.
