• Tamaqua Police have filed charges against two people for theft incidents at the Boyer's Food Market on Cedar Street in Tamaqua.

John Schaluch Jr., 31, of Tamaqua, took a candy bar valued at $3.63 on March 24. He was charged with retail theft and trespassing. This is his third offense and he was previously banned from the store.Samuel Koch, 56, of Tamaqua shoplifted two packages of ground beef, valued at $25.02, on March 17. He was cited for retail theft and banned from the store.• Tamaqua Police have filed a citation for a retail theft incident at Dollar General on East Broad Street in Tamaqua.Heather Willard, 30, of Tamaqua was issued a citation for stealing miscellaneous household items valued at $10.47 on Tuesday. This is her second theft offense.
