Nesquehoning responding to 2nd tractor-trailer crash in 2 days

For the second day in a row, Nesquehoning emergency personnel are responding to a tractor-trailer crash at the intersection of routes 209 and 93 in the borough.

According to scanner reports, a rig crashed into a shed at the bottom of the Broad Mountain after it crossed Route 209. The shed is located on the property of Creitz Tune Up Service and Auto Sales.Crews are on-scene currently. No further details are available at this time.Yesterday, a tractor-trailer carrying eight brand new Jeeps lost control at the bottom of the hill after failing to stop at the truck pull off at the top of the mountain and rolled, causing a scene that could be mistaken as a multvehicle crash.Charges are pending against the driver of the truck in yesterday's crash.
