State police at Schuylkill Haven reported investigating a rear-end crash at 12:02 p.m. March 20 along Route 183 at the intersection with Fire House Road in Wayne Township, Schuylkill County.

Troopers said James M. Cooper 48, of Schuylkill Haven, was southbound on 183 and stopped to make a left turn onto Fire House Road.Pauline A. Schuller, 52, of Saint Clair, also southbound, did not realize Cooper had stopped and her 1999 Pontiac Grand Am hit the rear of Schuller's 2011 Chevrolet Silverado truck.Upon impact, the Grand Am then struck the guardrail.Schuller and her passenger, a 1-year-old girl, and Cooper were not injured. The Grand Am had to be towed.Troopers cited Schuller for driving a vehicle at an unsafe speed.
