PathStone Child and Family Development program is now taking applications for Early Head Start, Head Start and Pre-K Counts programs. Children must be age eligible and meet the income guidelines. Families who receive unemployment benefits, work at a low-paying job or receive SSI are a few of those who may be income eligible.
Early Head Start serves children from birth to 3 years old. Pregnant women are also eligible for the program. Families living in the Panther Valley, Palmerton, Jim Thorpe, Lehighton and Weatherly school districts are eligible.Head Start serves children 3 to 5. Families living in the Panther Valley, Palmerton, Jim Thorpe and Lehighton school districts are eligible.Pre-K Counts serves children ages 3 to 5. Families living in the Panther Valley, Lehighton and Palmerton school districts are eligible. Income guidelines are slightly higher for this program than they are Head Start.Now is the time to call and register your child. Openings fill up quickly.
