A woman escaped serious injury Thursday evening when involved in a crash along Route 902 in Lansford.

The woman was traveling from Summit Hill to Lansford when she lost control of her sport utility vehicle.

The SUV slid across all three lanes of the roadway striking an earth embankment causing the vehicle to roll onto its roof.

Lansford Police are investigating the incident. The Lansford-Summit Hill hill was closed for over an hour.
