Jim Thorpe's Will Nieves will further his education and football career at Wilkes University this fall.

Nieves was an offensive and defensive lineman for the Olympians, where he was a two-year starter.On the offensive side of the ball, Nieves recorded 13 pancake blocks. On defense, he amassed 25 tackles, two sacks and one forced fumble.His parents are Veronica Nieves and William Nieves.He also is a member of the track team and powerlifting squad.Nieves will major in Criminal Law.
